Raducanu Wins in straight sets against Williams

After recently announcing her retirement from tennis, Serena Williams was comprehensively slammed 6-4 6-0 by the superb British number one Emma Raducanu at the Cincinnati open. There were signs of her previous US open form which she won in 2021. She played with composure and her ground strokes put too much pressure on the tennis legend.This victory against a dangerous champion will boost her confidence after a so-so start to her first season on the WTA tour. She faces the powerful Victoria Asarenka in the next round so we will be keeping our fingers crossed for her. Since lifting the US open title Radacanu has signed lucrative sponsorship deals with some illustrious brands. She is now global brand ambassador for British Airways, Dior, Tiffany & Co, Evian, Vodafone, HSBC, Wilson and if that's not enough she is a brand ambassador for Porsche and her tennis clothing and court trainers are provided by Nike.
