Juventus football club

Fun Football Fact: Juventus

The Italian football masters Juventus started off their Serie A campaign in style last night with a 3 - 0 victory over Sassuolo. Juve looked imperious as they played, knocking the ball around, frustrating Sassuolo. Two goals from the towering Serbian Dušan Vlahović and one goal from Argentinian Ángel Di María put the game out of reach early on in the second half. It was his Serie A debut and he played really well bringing class and skill to the Juventus squad. My son also pointed out how fast he is, which is probably the reason he can play as a winger or a midfielder. We noted that just like Alessia Russo he also wears adidas X Speedportal 1 boots. These appear to be the football boots of choice at the moment.
The history of the Juventus home strip is interesting. Originally they played in pink but unfortunately the shirts weren't resilient to washing or the elements and faded quickly. An Englishman called John Savage who was playing for the club at the time got in touch with a friend who was a Notts County supporter and of course he sent over some black and white striped football shirts which have remained at the club to this day. We have these rather smart adidas Juventus Infants Home Kits in white on sale at the moment.
